Reflecting on a Year of Growth and Service: GCU’s 2024 Accomplishments

It is with immense pride and gratitude that I reflect on the past year at GCU. The successes of 2024 were fueled by the remarkable dedication of our members, staff and volunteers. In our mission to serve both our faith and the broader community, GCU consistently strives to uplift those around us through charitable giving, innovative programs and unwavering fellowship. Below are a few highlights that showcase how we have grown, adapted and strengthened our commitment to serving our members throughout 2024.

1. Strengthening Our Community Presence
This year, our partnerships with local parishes and community organizations reached new heights. We remained focused on financial support and active involvement in faith-based programs while sponsoring a variety of events that brought members together for spiritual reflection, as well as retirement and life insurance education. By emphasizing volunteer opportunities and demonstrating how GCU can support its members, we not only provided valuable resources and assistance but also fostered an environment of unity and compassion throughout our organization.

2. Embracing Technology for Better Member Experiences
As we continue to adapt to our ever-evolving digital world, GCU placed great emphasis on modernizing our operations in 2024. Our dedicated team worked diligently to enhance the online member portal at Members.GCUusa.com, ensuring faster, more secure access to important information. By introducing improved digital platforms—ranging from an online application process to a more robust membership portal—we empowered our members to manage their benefits and inquiries anytime, anywhere.

3. Amplifying Philanthropic Initiatives
Giving back remains at the heart of GCU. Throughout 2024, we focused on philanthropic efforts to better serve those most in need. Our charitable events—such as supporting local food banks and conducting matching-funds campaigns—addressed critical causes that arose over the course of the year. We also continued to support our younger members through scholarship initiatives, awarding financial aid to numerous students pursuing higher education.
